P904 Class Chalet (5-7th Oct 2009)

P904. Chalet by the beach with P904. A place of our own with no responsible adults around. Taking in our surroundings. Cards, TV, shouts, loud voices and lots of laughter. Secret plans for secret surprises. The anticipation of starting the BBQ. Rebecca’s delicious cupcakes, the pre-ordered food and the expert cooking. The guitar and music playing in the background. Soccer ball. Basketball. P904 eating together under the stars. Surprises for 5 of the guys, singing, and birthday celebrations. Pictures attempting to capture the moment. Everyone in high spirits. Everything feels comfortable. P904 together in an apartment; our class chalet. I leave, they continue to their fun. A comfortable lazy atmosphere lingers upon my return in the early afternoon. Enthusiastic and detailed story-telling. Competitive gaming boys amusing me as I curl on the sofa. An easy lunch at Downtown East. A simple afternoon reading whilst watching the guys animatedly play soccer on Randy’s play station. Irwan twiddles on the guitar, playing many familiar tunes I sing along to. A quiet moment by myself on the breakwaters nearby. P904 makes plans to go night cycling after they come back from their kite-flying. I take my leave.
